2002 News:
NEW!
Well, 2002’s been another good year for Mari & I. We’ve both been
working hard, Mari with increasing photographic work as the
Japanese recession deepens, the magazines in Japan are even less able to
afford to send a photographer to England. Mari’s also broken into movie
work, doing a lot stills coverage for Japanese magazines of the
second Harry Potter film. I’m still with BNP Paribas in
London, and am on temporary secondment from Technical Architecture
to a Global Production team until the end of 2003. The change makes
a good break and provides time to refocus a bit. On the play front we’ve
been pretty active, flying in Wales and the French Alps,
with some superb flights thermalling up to 8,500 ft. and my first
cross-country flight in England of 18kms! Mari and I both have around 35
hours of flight time now and are looking forward to racking the hours up
in 2003.

2001 News:
Christmas this year
saw us at Mark & Ako's in London and three days of
games, talking, drinking and of course eating and just went like that! One
of the best Christmases we've spent in a long time, and the first one in
five years during which I haven't had to go to work.
Excellent party everyone - well done!
2000 News:
The news of late has been the appalling weather here in the UK.
For the months of October, November and December of
2000, we've been
battered by rain, floods, gales and storm after storm with not a day of
break in between. A few days after Christmas - it snowed! This turned our
back garden into a real winter wonderland - and of course completely
disrupted the already broken rail network...
