- This site has everything the pilot needs in terms of
current Met Office weather charts, TAFS/METARS and just about
anything else. Lots of very good links on this site on aviation
generally, but it isn't glider focused, so don't get too upset
when the weather detail starts to rabbit on about conditions at

Navy Fleet Numerical Meteorology and Oceanography Center
- One of the best weather resources on the web, it takes a
little time to figure out, but better weather prediction for the
entire planet you will not find. It is very much focused around
the worlds oceans, and requires a reasonable understanding of
synoptic charts, but full help is never more than a mouse click
away - Highly recommended. |
