A good basic list of useful sites to visit if you're into Paragliding...

The sites listed in the table below are just a few of the excellent web based Paragliding resources available today. We do endeavour to ensure that all of the links work, but if for any reason a link is broken, drop us a line at: john@gastric.com. Cheers.

German DHV Certification site
 - The DHV are the wonderful people who test fly and issue certificates of air-worthiness for all our paragliders and hang gliders. European Aviation Weather Centre
 - This site has everything the pilot needs in terms of current Met Office weather charts, TAFS/METARS and just about anything else. Lots of very good links on this site on aviation generally, but it isn't glider focused, so don't get too upset when the weather detail starts to rabbit on about conditions at 36,000 feet!

Use the left-most drop down menu to find: London WAFC (Bracknell) Surface Analysis - and select your time frame.

 - One of the best weather resources on the web, it takes a little time to figure out, but better weather prediction for the entire planet you will not find. It is very much focused around the worlds oceans, and requires a reasonable understanding of synoptic charts, but full help is never more than a mouse click away - Highly recommended.
