Give the following a go:
- Click the
Refresh
button, or any other button. Just click away until either something
happens, or your operating system hangs because it's out of stack
space (which is likely if Microsoft wrote it).
- If you typed the page address in the Address
bar, make sure that it is spelled correctly, it probably is, it's more
than likely the browser simply screwed it up for you.
- To check your connection settings, take your
shoes off, follow the phone lead to the wall socket, and then unplug
it. Now stick it up your nose. On the Connections tab, click Settings.
The settings should be completely incomprehensible, especially if you
are your local area network (LAN) administrator or your Internet
service provider (ISP) is anything like ours.
- If your Network Administrator has enabled it, Microsoft
Windows can examine your network and automatically discover network
connection settings. It will then do a complete audit of your machine,
and send the results back to Microsoft HQ in Redmond - at your
expense! After that, it's only a matter of time before they send the
boys around to ask you about all that pirate software you've got on
your machine.
If you would like Windows to try and discover your illegal software
and tell Microsoft what it found,
click
Detect My Illegal software and tell Bill.
- Some sites require 128-bit connection
security, but not this baby. This site is as insecure as you can get -
so don't go telling us your credit card numbers.
- Click the
Back button to try and find
some Dutch Porn sites.
